I know! Even the way it was written was annoying. "Do you want me to wash your hair for you, treasure", "What are you doing, treasure", "Nice boobs, treasure"...argh! I wanted to smack the person that wrote it. Who the fuck calls someone "treasure"? The person that wrote that story also wrote several others. She even wrote one using his real name. Uncool! Sometimes we play around on here and make little remarks, but we aren't nasty about it and we aren't using his real name and taking it too far. It's all light-hearted. My reaction was the same huney, except I would have to include this smiley:

We do it all in fun and if Mr. Regal did in fact read this, I think he would get a kick out of the light-hearted nature of it. The other one I read was just as bad. It was the one where Molly was an exotic dancer and he was a wrestler in Blackpool.

The reason it's so irksome to me is because things like that give fansites a bad name. We all try really hard to make this site and forum great and respectable, but other sites sometimes ruin it for others. As far as suing the writers, I'm not sure he could. I remember reading that the guy that played Screech off Saved by the Bell had a site dedicated to him that solely featured gay fanfiction starring him. (Yeah, I don't get it either.) Anyways, he tried to sue the owner of the site, but he lost the case. Something to do with freedom of speech.

I really was just shocked at how graphic the stories got.

Anyone else notice that the author has a rather strange perception of men?

I think I can see what you are saying Ashton, but give me an example.

I can't tell if people have a strange sense of humor or if they are somehow living through the characters. I mean, William Regal is super super hot and all, but I'm not going to pen an epic novel about his abs.

I think I can see what you are saying Ashton, but give me an example. I haven't read the story in a while, but I recall that she made Regal's character so in love with Molly Holly it was practically self-depreciating. Most men don't act like that, not to mention that's a huge turn off to some women.

Okay. That was what I was thinking that same thing. I mean, in a matter of a couple of days, he had decided that she was his entire world and he was nothing without her. I think most women with half a brain would be like "okay, slow down".
