I've been thinking about making the forum public in order to get more people to join. If this would make anyone uncomftorable please let me know. If you guys would prefer that we keep it private I will.

When I say public I mean that people can read our posts, but can't actually post. They still have to register to do that.

That would be cool. I'm sure people would love to post info about Regal.

Oh, well I didn't realize that people had to be registered to just read the posts anyway LOL ;D
I don't have a problem with making the forum public, as long as they do have to be registered to comment or view profiles. That way you do retain some control over what is posted, and we won't end up with random smart asses LOL ;D
I've been on some other wrestling-related boards, and it can get awfully stupid, mean, and dirty. I love this site, not only because of Regal, but because people are smart and post meaningful content;)

I believe you can still view profiles, but there's very little personal info on them. You can't post though, unless you register.

That's cool. The only recommendation I would make is for anyone who currently is showing their email address on their profile to make it private. That way, no one can troll for email addresses to spam. If you want to share your email address with someone on the board, you can always send it by private message Otherwise, bring on the visitors!

That's a good idea. Everyone, starting now hide your e-mail.

I'm leaning towards keeping the forum private. As lindsay pointed out earlier, we have really good members here who are polite and great people to talk to in general, and I hate for a bunch of idiots with too much free time and a vocabulary limited to insults and profanity to ruin that for us.

True. Either way though is fine

You know Ashton, I was thinking about that too. I read other forums and the things that people say on their run from stupid to just ridiculous.
I mean, on other sites, they had to join too, so ours should be no exception.
