Regal faced off against Rey Mysterio for an Elimination Chamber qulaifying match. He got some pretty good offense and dominated until Rey came back and pulled a 6:19 and won Kofi damn Kingston is in the elimination chamber, but not Regal? Absolute bullshit!

So was tonight the only night of qualifying for No Way Out? If so, then that is bullshit. At least Punk didn't make it either. That frees him up to get back to the feud with Regal.

Well it's back to the "too many big dawgs" at the top of the heap theory. Clearly Cena, Orton (with DiBiase & Rhodes), Jericho, Punk, Kane, JBL/Michaels, Mysterio, and Batista (when he comes back) are the golden boys of Raw at the moment. That doesn't leave a lot of room for the mid-card talent, which is what WWE considers Regal whether we agree or not. I think Regal is a far better wrestler than anyone mentioned above, but as far as WWE is concerned, he only serves to further the angles involving the top dawgs. Sucks ... but it's true. All we can do as Regal fans is be as vocal in our support of Regal as we can, but know Vince isn't really concerned about what we think. Go back to the PPV a few months ago where they had the wrong number posted to vote for Regal.... WWE has its own business agenda, and we don't matter.

I know we all hate it, but its true. But I really don't even think that CM Punk is seen as a main eventer by WWE managment either. I see Regal doing a few more IC title runs, but I don't think that Vinnie Mac will ever give him a main event run. I see him at best getting an World title run, but getting the "Rey Mysterio" or "CM Punk treatment", which means a thank you run or transitional run. If you look back at the reports that came out when got the Wellness suspension, you'll see that sources said that McMahon had always resisted attempts to push him in the past and didn't like his wrestling style. It just shows how much Vince has lost touch with this business. Some would suggest that Triple H should use his influence to get Regal pushed again, but how long do you think that it took him to get Regal pushed before? Probably forever. By the time he can convince him again to push Regal, both Regal and Triple H will be 60 yrs old! This site, and believe or not, the other sites we have been talking about in other posts, keep up support for our guy Regal.
